Anatomage Table' is the latest digital equipment 'which has revolutionized the teaching of Anatomy and Surgery in Medical Education. This tool is found in less than hundred colleges in the whole world. Davao Medical College is one of the few medical colleges in the Philippines that has the “Anatomage Table”. Mohamed Ghani, Director LIMRA during his visit, was wonderstruck by the use of the Anatomage Table in the classroom and in the hospital. He made an interview with the Dean of Davao Medical College regarding this tool.
A newly designed digital tool called “SIMULATION LAB” is being used in a few Medical Colleges in Western Countries. This is established and installed at a high cost at Davao Medical College in order to make the teaching of Surgery and Concepts of Medicine highly effective. Any number of repetition can be had in learning and practising the surgical methods, thus making the learning thorough. Mr. Mohammed Ghani when he visited Davao Medical College spent more than two hours with the Dean in getting to know its specifications and use.
Dear Mr. Mohammed Ghani,
I am extremely happy to extend my warm wishes to you and your team of officers at Limra Overseas Education. I recall with pleasure, how during the past 18 years you have steadily increased the strength of your students getting admission in our medical college. Among the students from India, the group from Tamilnadu always excel not only in number but also in their sincerity and devotion to studies.
To cite an exemplary example, I must here put on record the impressive performance of Ms. Sanjana Manivannan, a student from Limra, who bagged the First Rank among the students who were graduated during January 2020, from our university.
The primary cause for the steady rise of the number of students from Tamilnadu is not only the advanced medical education at Davao but also the parental care that is shown by Mohammed Ghani for his students.
My best wishes to Limra Overseas Education and its students.
Greetings to you All.
For Limra it is a great journey of 18 years and still continues in the field of Overseas Medical Education. It gives us immense joy to note that for the past 9 years, the strength of our students in the Davao Medical College at the Philippines has continuously increased to touch nearly 100.
I thank all the parents who have had unreasoning, uncritical and cordial faith on us while they got admission at Davao through Limra. I must also thank our students who have materialized the goal and dream of their parents.
Dean Petrolina A Basa and the team of experienced Professors at the Davao medical college deserve our praise and thanks for safeguarding our students and extending a helping hand whenever there was a need. It is really God's grace that our students get such a team of teachers to learn medicine and surgery.
Last but not the least I must also thank my team of office staff who always shared my burden to render help to the students and parents irrespective of time and schedule.
At this juncture, let me assure the parents and the students that Limra Overseas Education dedicates itself to the cause of Overseas Medical Education year after year. With us, Davao Medical School Foundation also extends a warm welcome to our students in getting them admitted to the medical courses.
With kind regards.
