FMGE 2019: June Session Exam Date Announced
The National Board of Examination released an official notification of 2nd February 2019 announcing the exam date for the June session of FMGE 2019. FMGE or Foreign Medical Graduate Exam is a screening test conducted for medical graduates of foreign countries who wish to practice in India. The exam is conducted on biannually in the months of June and December. As per the official notification released by NBE the FMGE 2019 June Session Exam will be conducted on June 28, 2019. The exam will be conducted in the computer-based exam format at various test centres across the country.
The official notification also stated that the FMGE 2019 brochure will be released in the month of April/May 2019. The brochure will feature information regarding the FMGE 2019 such as the exam eligibility criteria, fee structure, exam pattern etc.
Also, the Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who wish to get a provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of  India (MCI) or the State Medical Council are required to clear the FMGE screening test. As per the Screening Test Regulation 2002, such candidates are required to have a primary medical qualification awarded by any of the medical institutions outside of India.
